CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 85-31 <br />BY : A4- "4 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 2,000 TONS OF <br />STONE FOR VARIOUS SERVICE DEPARTMENT NEEDS, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE NZAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLNiSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby aut orize to advertise for bids for 2,000 tons of stone for <br />various Service Department needs according to the specifications <br />now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of <br />Control, the Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract and <br />execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary £or the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason <br />that it is immediately necessary to provide for the City's stone <br />rec{uirements, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote <br />of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />PASSED: /q?,f" <br />? <br />-?-- <br />ATTEST: <br />//1 ' <br />FLORENCE E.
