CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 85-30 <br />First reading: <br />Second reading: . t s <br />Third reading: ts-- <br />B Y : --1kt.? <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR VARIOUS <br />REFLECTIVE TRAFFIC SIGN AND ROADWAY MARKING <br />MATERIALS FOR USE BY THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for various reflective <br />traffic sign and roadway marking materials for use by the Service <br />Department, according to the specifications now on file in his <br />office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor <br />is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason <br />that it is immediately necessary to provide for the City's traffic <br />and roadway requirements, and further provided it receives the affir- <br />mative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : ?-- <br />ATTEST: <br />? ` • J? <br />?!(, 13 <br />FLORENCE E.
