consumption. <br />(2) "Vendor" means anq person who owns or operates a <br />busines establishment such as a bar or restaurant, which <br />sells at retail any alcoholic beverages for on-premises <br />consumption; and any person who owns or operates a <br />concession, or any other business which includes the <br />retail sale of alcoholic beverages. The term shall not <br />include the Ohio Liquor Control board, its agents and <br />emplopees who manage or operate Ohio Liquor Stores under <br />the provisions of the Liquor Code. <br />Section 529.10(B) - SIGN REQUIREMENTS. <br />All vendors of alcoholic beverages shall have posted, in <br />a conspicuous place, a white sign with black letters, <br />measuring approximately 8-1/2 x 11", provided by the <br />Safety Department; the sign will read "WARNING DRINKING <br />ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES DURING PREGNANCY CAN CAUSE BIRTH <br />DEFECTS." <br />Section 529.10(C) - SIGN DISTRIBUTION. <br />The Director of Public Safety shall make warning signs <br />available to vendors of alcoholic beverages, and shall <br />promulgate requirements with respect to the position of <br />said signs. Any vendor who is required by this Section <br />to post said sign shall pay the office of Safety <br />Director the sum of three dollars ($3.00) each for said <br />sign. <br />Section 529.10(D) - ENFORCEMENT. <br />Enforcement of this regulation shall fall under the <br />authority of the Director of Public Safetp. <br />Section 529.10(E) - VIOLATION. <br />Whoever violates any provision of this Chapter is guilty <br />of a minor misdemeanor. <br />SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from <br />and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: /V,[` .19 rz <br />2
