CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTIQN N0. 86 - 70 <br />BY: . ? <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC. <br />SERVICE TQ ADVERTISE FOR BIAS FOR NEW TIRES ANU <br />TUBES FOR USE BY THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS <br />LINE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND bECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY <br />OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1; That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for new tires and tubes ta be used by <br />the city in accordance with the specifications now on fil,e in his office, <br />and that upon approval by the Board of Con.trol, the Mayor is hereby auth- <br />orized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Res,olution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that the anticipated purchase <br />cost will fall above the bidding limit as set forth in the City Charter, and. <br />further, provided it receives the affixmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effeet and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ? <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE E.
