CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 86 - 53 <br />BY : jyel. xd"Ie7t,/ <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION <br />TO BE PAID TO ALL HOURLY EMPLOYEES EMPLOYED <br />BY THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish <br />a compensation schedule for all hourly personnel employed by the <br />North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, so that it is similiar to the <br />wage schedules paid to employees of the Greater Cleveland Regional <br />Transit Authority. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF IV'ORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That effective August 1, 1986, the compensation <br />to be paid to all hourly employees of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line shall be as follows: <br />A. Bus Operator - Full-time <br />Hourly rates: <br />Classification RTA Code Rate Steps* <br />Title No. 0** 1 2 3 4 <br />Operator 437 8.03 8.645 9.88 11.115 12.35 <br />* Each rate step is one year of full time service. <br />** Rate step "0" is starting rate for those hired after September 5, <br />1985. <br />B. Bus Operator - Part-time <br />Part-time Bus Operators shall be paid the same schedule as full-time <br />Bus Operators. For purposes of applying a wage progression part-time <br />operators shall be credited for one year of service after completion <br />of 2,080 part-time hours and will progress to the next rate step. <br />Part-time Bus Operators who subsequently are hired full-time will <br />remain in the rate step schedule they are in, however, no credit with <br />part-time hours will be applied towards their full-time employment <br />wage progression within that rate step. <br />Part-time Bus Operators shall accrue full-time seniority only from the <br />date of employment as a full-time operator. <br />C.
