CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 86 -3 4- <br />PAGE 8 <br />the next day. <br />SECTION 16: That all full time administrative and legislative <br />personnel having completed five (5) years of full tirne continuous service <br />as employees of said departments shall be paid an additional four percent <br />(4%) of their base annual salary; thereafter until completion of the tenth <br />(lOth) year of full time continuous service after which such employee shall <br />receive five percent (5%) of their base annual salary; thereafter until the <br />completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full time continuous service, <br />such employee shall receive six percent (6%) of their base annual salary <br />until after the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of full time <br />continuous service, and during each year of full time service thereafter <br />they shall receive seven percent (7%) of their base annual salary as <br />longevity increments. <br />SECTION 17: That all full time adrninistrative and legislative <br />personnel listed within this Ordinance shall receive the following holidays <br />off, unless required to work by their supervisor or the Mayor in <br />emergencies and shall receive their regular rate of pay: New Year's Day; <br />President's Day; Good Friday; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; <br />Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and a floating <br />holiday. <br />SECTION 18: That all full time administrative and legislative <br />personnel listed within this Ordinance shall be entitled to an annual <br />vacation in accordance with the vacation ordinance adopted by Council. <br />SECTION 19: That all ordinances or resolutions or parts of ordinances <br />or resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed with the effective <br />date of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 20: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare and for the further reason it is immediately necessary <br />to review all pay scales and bring them into line due to inflation and cost <br />of living increases, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote <br />of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon it passage and approval of the Mayor.
