J <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86-33 <br />BY ; THON`?AS 0' GRADY <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL COUNTY-WIDE 9-1-1 PLAN <br />WHEREAS, in June, 1985, the Ohio General Assembly enacted and the <br />Governor signed Am. Sub. H.B. 491 which provides for the planning and <br />implementation of Enhanced 9-1-1 in the State of Ohio; and <br />WHEREAS, on July 1, 1985, the Board of Commissioners of Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio established the 9-1-1 Planning Committee for the preparation <br />of a County-wide 9-1-1 Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, on March 24, 1986, the 9-1-1 Planning Committee adopted a Final <br />County-wide Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Final 9-1-1 Plan provides for the creation of an Enhanced <br />9-1-1 System and implementation, at a ninimum, of the Selective Routing <br />feature in the County at no cost to the cities, villages and townships; and <br />WHEREAS, approval of the Final 9-1-1 Plan does not require any <br />municipal corporation or township to procure the equipment which displays <br />at the Public Safety Answering Point the telephone number and address from <br />which a 9-1-1 call originates. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That this Council does hereby approve the Final County-wide <br />9-1-1 Plan for Cuyahoga County, Ohio as adopted by the 9-1-1 Planning <br />Committee.
