CITX CF NOlMi OIMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 86 - 15 <br />BY; <br />AN ORDIlNAlVCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS <br />PERSONAL PRUPER'I'Y OWNED BY THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OIMSTED AND PREVIOUSLY USID BY THE DEPAR'.NMT <br />OF PUBLIC SERVICES, AND DEQ,P,RI'NG AN RqRGENCY. <br />WM1zEA.S, the CoLmcil and the Administration have detelmined that <br />various items of personal property awned by the City of North O]msted <br />and fornie.rly used by the Deparbrient of Public Servioes are rbo longer <br />needed for municipal purposes, and <br />WMIEAS, it is the clesire of this CoLm.cil to sell saa.d personal <br />property in accordance with law. <br />N(7W, 'IHEREE'ORE, BE IT ORLIAML) BY 'PHE COL]NCIL OF THE QTY OF <br />NORI'f-I OINSTED, OOUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECI'ION 1: That the follaaing personal property was fornnerly used <br />by the Depa.rtment of Public Servioes and is no longer needed for <br />municipal business, to wit: <br />See attached 5chedule "A" made a part <br />hereof as though fully rewritten herein. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to sell <br />said personal property to the highest bidder accord:ing to law, provided <br />haaever, that the highest bid is approved by the Board of Control and <br />further provided that the highest bidcler shall, upon acceptance of the <br />bid, pay to the DirectAr of Finance of the City of North O]msted, twenty- <br />five percent (25%) of the bid prioe and that within five (5) days there- <br />after, the entire bid price shall be paid and the successful biclder shall <br />accept and reirove sai.d property frcm the premises of the City. 'I'he Mayor, <br />having been advised upon receipt of the full bid price, shall, if <br />necessar.y, execute any and all docments required by law. <br />SECZZON 3: That this Orclinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure ?inured.iately necessar.y for the preservation of the public health,
