r <br />BY: Mr. La.ckey <br />CITY QF NO12TH OINISTED <br />RE'SOLUITON NO. 86-18 <br />A RESOLUI'ION DESICNATING A PREt7AILING WAGE UOORDINATOR PURSiIANI' TO <br />SECTION 4115.032, QHIO RE.'VISED OODE, FOR ALL IlVDiJSTRZAL DWELOPMENT <br />PROJECI'S TD BE FINANCED WITH REIIIWE OBLIGATIONS OF 'IIIE CITY OF <br />NORTH OIMSTED. <br />WfEREA.S, the City of North Olmsted, Ohio ("Issuer") has heretofore a- <br />greed tA and will hereafter agree to issue revenue abligations of the Issuer <br />to assist in the financing of industrial development facilities the ("Projects") <br />pursuant to the laws of the State of Ohio, particularly Chapter 165, Ohio <br />Revised Code, as amended., and the authorities therein mentioned; and <br />WfMREA.S, Section 4115.032, Ohio Revised Code, states that all oon- <br />tractors and subcontractArs working on projects, facilities or project fac- <br />ilities to which Section 165.031, Ohio Revised Code, applies, such as the Pro- <br />jects, are subject to and must ooaply with Section 4115.03 to 4115.16, Ohio <br />Revised Code; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to allaw ccmnazcement with the oonstruction of the <br />Projects in compliance with the requirements of Section 4115.032, Ohio Revised <br />Code, it is necessary that a Prevailing Wage Coordinator be appointed for such <br />Projects pursuant to said Section. <br />NQW TMMF'ORE, BE IT RESC)LUED BY 'I'fE COUNQL OF THE QTY OF NORPH <br />OIMSTID, QOUNrlY OF CUYAHOGA, STATE OF OHIO: <br />SF,CI.'ION l: Henry G. Becker is hereby designa.ted as the Prevailing Wage <br />Coordanator (the "Coordinator") for all such Projects under Section 4115.032, <br />Ohio Revised. Code, with CoordinatAr's duties being those set forth in Sub- <br />divisions (A) and (C) of Section 4115.071, Ohio Revised Cods. It is further <br />determined that the clesignation of a Coordinator for such Projects does not, <br />nor is not intended to, imply that the City has any duties or obligations unclex <br />or is obligated to ccuply with the requi.rements uncler Seetions 4115.03 tA <br />4115.16, Ohio Revised Code, with the respect to or arising out of the Projects <br />or the financing thereof. <br />SECl'ION 2: It is foim,d and c3eternLined that all formal actions ot this <br />Counci ooncerning and relating to the adoption of this Resolution were adopted <br />in an open meeting of this Council, and that all deliberations of this Cotmcil <br />and of any of its cm-mittees that resulted in such formal action, were in <br />meetings open to the public, in acapliance with all legal requirements, in- <br />cluding Section 121.11 of the Ohio Revised Code.
