CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 86- 17 <br />BY: RON TALLON <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL MAP AND FILE <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO ESTABLISH A NO PARKING <br />ZONE AT THE INTERSECTION OF SHELLEY DRIVE AND DEFOE <br />DRIVE, WHICH WILL ENCOMPASS THE RESIDENCES NUMBERED <br />3946 AND 3934 SHELLEY DRIVE AND 26132 AND 26122 DEFOE <br />DRIVE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has been advised that there is currently a <br />problem of traffic conjestion with individuals parking their motor vehicles <br />at the intersection of Shelley Drive and Defoe Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to prohibit parking at the <br />intersection of Shelley Drive and Defoe Drive, which will encompass the <br />residences numbered 3946 and 3934 Shelley Drive and 26132 and 26122 Defoe <br />Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance <br />of the Traffic Control Map which said map can be amended only by Ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Police Department be and they are hereby <br />authorized and directed to amend the Traffic Control Map and File of the <br />City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon an area of no parking at the <br />intersection of Shelley Drive and Defoe Drive, which will encompass the <br />residences numbered 3946 and 3934 Shelley Drive and 26132 and 26122 Defoe <br />Drive. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause no parking signs to be placed at the intersection of Shelley Drive <br />and Defoe Drive, which will encompass the residences numbered 3946 and 3934 <br />Shelley Drive and 26132 and 26122 Defoe Drive.
