CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86-14 <br />BY: MR. RADEMAKER <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR UP TO 5,000 TONS OF ASPHALT <br />AND TACK COATING OF CITY STREETS, AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, <br />AS AMENDED. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1; That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for up to 5,000 tons of asphalt and tack <br />coating of city streets, according to specifications now on f ile in his office, <br />and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is authorized to <br />enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public safety, health <br />and welfare and for the further reason that it is immediatelq necessary to <br />provide for the city's asphalt and tack coating requirements, and further pro- <br />vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br />to council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: lka:?&? , / 9a <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE E.
