The Secretary and Clerical Assistants shall be compensated in <br />accordance with the schedule established in Section 4 hereof. <br />C. The individual salaries to be paid to the employees of the Department <br />of Budget and Management as specified in Subsection A and B hereof shall be <br />established by the Director and Mayor. <br />SECTION 12: That the following salary is established for members of <br />the Police and Fire Department: <br />FROM TO <br />A. Chief of Police Dept. <br />B. Chief of Fire Dept. <br />C. Assistant Chief of Fire <br />$39,599 Annually <br />$39,599 Annually <br />$35,043 Annually <br />D. In addition to the salaries as specified herein the Chief of Police <br />Department, Chief of Fire Department, and Assistant Chief of Fire <br />Department shall be entitled to any and all benefits afforded the members <br />of each of the respective Departments. However, the overtime benefits <br />afforded the members of the Police and Fire Departments shall not apply to <br />the Chief of Police Department and Chief of the Fire Department. <br />SECTION 13;_ That the salary ranges and amounts established for the <br />year 1986 will be effective retroactive to January 1, 1986, with respect to <br />all salaries within the range designated herein as payable in 1986. <br />Salaries specified in this Ordinance shall be paid by the Director of <br />Finance on a bi-weekly basis. <br />SECTION 14:_ The Foremen and Dispatcher listed in Sections 6 and 7 <br />hereof will be paid time and one--half of their straight time rates of pay <br />for hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any one day and time and <br />one-half of their straight time rate of pay, for hours worked in excess of <br />forty (40) hours in any one work week.
