CITY OF NORTH OIMSTID ORDINANCE N0. 87-137 By: Councilman Wilamosky: AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITCTRES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OIMSTED FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1987. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OIMSTED, COUNTY OF CLTYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending December 31, 1987, that the following stuns be and they are hereby set aside and appropriated as follows; Current Increase Revised Amount Amount Amount SEWER RF'VIIV[TE F[TND Systems Wages $160,000 $62,000 $222,000 Systems Overtime 14,300 17,000 31,300 Plant Overtime 44,000 20,000 64,000 Plant Part-time 10,000 7,000 17,000 Retirement and Vacation -0- 8,722 8,722 $228,300 $114,722 $343,022 SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments frcan any of the aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made.
