<br />CLTY OF .NORTH OLMSTED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE N0. 87 - 121 <br />BY: MR. WILAMOSKY <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC .CONTROL FILE OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATION <br />OF A "NO PARKING BETWEEN 8 A.M. AND 4 P.M., MONDAY THROUGH <br />FRIDAY, SCHOOL DAYS ONLY" SIGN ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF <br />SOUTHERN AVENUE BETWEEN MCKENZIE AND BURNS ROADS. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it is in the best interest of <br />the public health, safety and welfare of the City to prohibit the parking of <br />vehicles between the hours of 8 A.M. and 4 P.M., Monday through Friday, School <br />Days Only, on the South side of Southern Avenue between McKenzie and Burns <br />Roads, in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council wishes to control. said situation by eliminating <br />the parking on the South side of Southern Avenue between McKenzie and Burns <br />Roads between the hours of 8 A.M, and 4 P.M., Monday through Friday, School <br />Days Only; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of <br />a traffic control file which must be amended by ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and they are hereby authorized <br />and directed to amend the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted <br />to indicate therein "no parking on the South side of Southern Avenue, be- <br />tween McKenzie and Burns. Roads, between the hours of 8 A.M, and 4 P.M., <br />Monday through Friday, School Days Only, in the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause the "no parking between the hours of 8 A.M. and 4 P.M., Monday <br />through Friday, School Days Only" signs to be placed in the manner specified <br />herein. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the <br />earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12, of the Charter of the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />PASSED: ~O'C-.~'~~ / ~ /~7 <br />ATTES :~, <br />i <br />Q- <br />FLORENCE E.
