<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID <br />~n RESOLUTION N0. 87 - 119 <br />BY : U` ~ l <br />A RESO UTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 250 TONS OF <br />CINDERS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AND EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for 250 tons of cinders in accordance <br />with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract <br />and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of 'the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to provide for the safe use of city streets during the winter <br />season and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ,~ <br />ATTEST: <br />6 <br />ORENCE E.
