I. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 87 - 115 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FOR THE INSTALLATION <br />AND MAINTENANCE OF A' WATER LINE FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />SUPPLYING FIRE PROTECTION BY THE CITY OF CLEVELAND TO <br />LAND OWNED BY THE GREAT NORTHERN SHOPPING CENTER PARTNERSHIP, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Great Northern Shopping Center Partnership desires to <br />extend a water main into their property for the Great Northern <br />Plaza South Development, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Cleveland requires that extension of water <br />lines shall only be approved if easements are granted to both the <br />City of Cleveland and the City of North Olmsted in order that water <br />mains may be constructed and maintained therein, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council deems it in the best interest of the City <br />to accept the water main easement described herein; attached <br />Exhibit "A". <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That this Council does hereby accept an easement <br />from Great Northern Shopping Center Partnership for the installation <br />and maintenance of a water main for the purpose of supplying water <br />service by the City of Cleveland to property of Great Northern <br />Shopping Center Partnership. <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of this Council is hereby authorized <br />to forward a certified copy of this Ordinance to the Director of <br />Public Utilities of the City of Cleveland. <br />SECTION 3: That it is found and determined that all formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the adoption of <br />this Ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and <br />that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees <br />that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the <br />public in compliance with all legal requirements, including Section <br />121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />
