CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87 - 105 <br />BY : `{/ _ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />2,500 TONS OF ROAD SALT AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGEL~CY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for 2,500 Tons of Road Salt <br />in accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and that <br />upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized <br />to enter into a contract andexecute same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and for the further reason that it is <br />immediately necessary to provide for the safe use of city streets <br />during the winter season, and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED:_ _ /~~ /pf,~ <br />ATTEST: <br />P~c_ C: <br />LORENCE E.
