DATE BIKEWAY Rev. 8/3/87 87 - 86 An ordinance enacted by the City of _ North Olmsted ~~ty of Cuyahoga , Ohio, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement WHEREAS, the City has identified the need for, and public interest and safety demands the construction of a bikeway which is described as follows: Construct an eight (8) foot wide asphalt bikeway from Columbia Road (SR 252) to Ruple Road in North Olmsted, Brook Park and the Cleveland Metropolitan Park District, a distance of 0.83 miles mare or less. said portion of bikeway kithin the municipal corporation limits being hereinafter referred to as the improvement. NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the City of North Olmsted Oho: SECTION I (Cooperation) That the, City hereby requests the cooperation of the Cleveland Metropolitan Park Board of Park Commissioners and the Director of Transportation in the cost of the above described improvement as follows: That the City agrees to have the Cleveland Metropolitan Park Board of Park Commissioners act as contractual agent with the Department of Transportation for the improvement. SECTIC~t II (Consent) That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of said City be and such consent is hereby given to the Cleveland Metropolitan Park Board of Park Commissioners and the Director of Transportation to construct the above described improvement, in accordance with plans, specifications and estimates as approved by the Director. SECTION III (Authority to Sign) That the Mayor oP said City is hereby • empowered and directed on behalf of the City to enter into agreements with the Cleveland Metropolitan Park Board of Park Commissioners and the Director of Transportation necessary to complete the planning and construction oP this improvement.
