``) B Y : ~, I !~ • h l • ~, .war NAME GF STREET Cedar Point Road ROIITE N0. ~~•..;. _ , _... u~, Bev ORDINANCE N0. 87 - 86 ' DATE An ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted ~,~ty of Cuyahoga , Ohio, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement , WHEREAS, the City has identified the need far, and public interest and safety demands the construction of a bikeway which is described as follows: Construct an asphalt bikeway from Columbia Road (SR 2S2) to Ruple Road in North Olmsted, Brook Park and the Cleveland Metropolitan Park District, a distance of 0.83 miles more' or less. said portion of bikeway within the municipal corporation limits being hereinafter referred to as the improvement. NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the City of North Olmsted Ohio: SBLTION I (Cooperation) That the, City hereby requests the cooperation of the Cleveland Metropolitan Park Board of Park Commissioners and the Director of Transportation in the cost of the above described improvement as follows: That the City agrees to have the Cleveland Metropolitan Park Board of Park Commissioners act as contractual agent xith the Department of Transportation for the improvement. SECTION II (Consent ) That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent oP said City be and such consent is hereby given to the Cleveland Metropolitan Park Board of Park Commissioners and the Director of Transportation to construct the above described improvement, in accordance with plans, specifications and estimates as approved by the Director. SECTION IZI (Authority to Sign) That the Mayor of said City is hereby • empowered and directed on behalf of the City to eater into agreements with the Cleveland Metropolitan Park Board of Park Commissioners and the Director , of Transportation necessary 'to complete the planning and construction of this improvement.
