CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 87 - 85 BY: MR. BOHLMANN AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A NEW AND REVISED CHAPTER 1367 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES ENTITLED "REGULATION OF DISH-TYPE SATELLITE SIGNAL-RECEIVING EARTH STATIONS", AS AMENDED. WHEREAS, Council previously adopted Ordinance No. 83-154 dealing with the regulation of satellite dishes; and WHEREAS, since the adoption of said Ordinance, the City Council has determined that additional regulations are needed with respect to the in- stallation of said satellite dishes; and L+IHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to adopt a new and revised Chapter 1367 as hereinafter provided. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That there is hereby enacted a new and revised Chapter 1367 entitled "Regulation of Dish-type Satellite Signal-Receiving Earth Stations", which new and revised Chapter shall read as follows: "1367.01 PERMIT REQUIRED No person, firm or corporation shall erect an earth station dish antenna in the City of North Olmsted without a permit, and no installation or erection shall commence before a permit is issued, in accordance with Section 1367.02 of this Chapter, exempting franchized television cable companies that serve the City of North Olmsted. 1367.02 APPLICATION FOR PERMITS: PLANS The Building Commissioner shall issue such permit, provided the applicant submits a written application form provided by the Building Department, along with a plot plan of the lot, premises, or parcel of land showing the exact location of the proposed dish antenna and the location of all buildings on the subject lot. The applicant also must submit a descrip- tion of the dish antenna proposed, and three (3) sets of construction plans, specifications, and elevations of the proposed location with sufficient de- tails showing the method of assembly and construction.
