CITY OF NORTH OIMSTID ORDINANCE N0. 87-62 BY: MR. WILAA40SKY AN ORDINANCE 'I+0 TRANSFER FUNDS FROM THE TRtTST AND AGENCY FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND FOR CCTI2RENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITCTRES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECII~ER 31,1987. WI~REA.S, it has been determined through a study of existing records that One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) exists in the Trust and Agency Fund that should have been transferred to the General Fund upon the completion of inspections over the past Twenty years. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID, COtTN'1'Y OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending December 31, 1987, that the following sums be and they are hereby set aside and appropriated as follows; TRUST AND AGENCY FITND Transfer to General Fund $100,000 SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made.
