<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 87-58 <br />PAGE TWO <br />behalf of the Mayors and Managers Association with regard to the proposed <br />rate increase requested by Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company which is <br />currently pending before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, bearing <br />Case Number 86-2026-EL-AIR. <br />SECTION 2: That the Five Hundred Dollars which is authorized to be <br />expended in Section 1 hereof, shall be paid from the General Fund. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an <br />attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 4: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to send <br />certif led copies of the Ordinance to the Members of the Public Utilities <br />Commission, Governor Richard Celeste, State Representative James Petro, State <br />Senator Gary Suhadolnik, House Speaker Vernon Riffe, and Senate President <br />Paul Gilmore. <br />SECTION 5: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reason stated. in the preamble hereof and provided further <br />that it receives an affirmative vote of two-thirds of all Members of Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approvel by the Mayor; otherwise it shall take effect and be in force from <br />and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />/~ Q. <br />ORENCE E.
