CITY OF NORTH OI~LSTID <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87 - 44 <br />BY: MR. &IILAMOSK~' . <br />A RESOLUTION AITIHORIZING THE DIRDCTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THREE (3) NEW PICK-UP TRUCKS <br />FOR THE NORTH OLMSTID {iASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, AND <br />AUTHORIZING ~ MAYOR TO CONT[tACT FOR SAME, AND DDCLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVID BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID, (~UUNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is hereby <br />authorized to advertise ,for bids for three (3) new. pick-up trucks, and <br />for which it will be paid for out of the~Sewer Revenue Fund. Said trucks <br />shall conform to the specifications now on file in the office of the <br />Director of Public Service, and that upon approval by the Board o€ Control, <br />the Mayor is hereby authorized the option to utilize the State of Ohio <br />contractual sales process. The Mayor is also hereby authorized to enter <br />into a contract and execute same on behalf of The City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure imIDe iately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason it is immediately necessary <br />to maintain service to area residents and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />PASSID: ~ ~~ ~, <br />ATTEST: <br />orence E.
