<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87 - 39 <br />BY: MR. WILAMOSK~ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR FOUR (4) POLICE VEHICLES FOR <br />THE NORTH OLMSTED POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO CONTRAC'T' FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Safety be and is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for four (4) police vehicles. Said police <br />vehicles shall conform to the specifications now on file in the office of <br />the Director of Public Safety, and that, upon approval by the Board of <br />Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized the option to utilize the State <br />of Ohio contractual sales process. The Mayor is also hereby authorized <br />to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of The City of North <br />07msted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure irrmlediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason it is irrnnediately necessary <br />to maintain safety for area residents and further provided it received the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force irrnnediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />F orence E.
