CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87 - 16 <br />BY: <br />MR. TALLON <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR UP TO 2,000 TONS OF STONE FOR <br />VARIOUS SERVICE DEPARTMENT NEEDS, AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGEPICY, <br />AS AMENDED. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for up to 2,000 tons of stone for various <br />Service Department needs according to the spec if ications now on file in his <br />office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is authorized <br />to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the Public Health, Safety <br />and Welfare and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to pro- <br />vide for the City's stone requirements, and further, provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of .two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~~' /~f, /~j'~7 <br />ATTEST: <br />FL RENCE E.
