CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87 - $ <br />BY:_~ ~~ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR ONE (1) NEW <br />AUTOMOBILE FOR THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS <br />LINE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for one (1) new <br />automobile, which is to be used by the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line, and for which it will be paid for out of the Bus <br />Line fund. Said automobile shall conform to the specifications <br />now on file in the office of the Director of Public Service, <br />and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is <br />hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason <br />it is immediately necessary to maintain scheduled bus service to <br />area residents, and further provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : ~/9~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />lorence E.
