NpW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OIMSTED, COtTNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of said City of North O]msted during the year ending December 31, 1988, that the following sums be and they are hereby set aside and appropriated as fol- laws; Current Increase Revised Anbunt Amount Amount GENERAL F'UND Lorain Road and Barton Road Relining -0- 21,000 21,000 MpTpR VEHIQ,E LICIINSE TAX FUND Elm Road Engineering -0- 20,000 20,000 SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall i.mrediately forward an at- tested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. SECI'ION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments fran any of the aforegoing ap- propriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, ap- proved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Or- dinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons em- ployed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted.
