EXPE[JSES <br />p,ND pTHER FXPENDIT[1RES FOR THE CITY OF NORTFi OIr'1STED FOR <br />TfE YE',AR IIVDING DECIIMBER 31, 1988. <br />NpW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OIMSTED, COtTNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures <br />of said City of North O]msted during the year ending December 31, 1988, that <br />the following sums be and they are hereby set aside and appropriated as fol- <br />laws; <br />Current Increase Revised <br />Anbunt Amount Amount <br />GENERAL F'UND <br />Lorain Road and Barton Road Relining <br />-0- 21,000 21,000 <br />MpTpR VEHIQ,E LICIINSE TAX FUND <br />Elm Road Engineering <br />-0- 20,000 20,000 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall i.mrediately forward an at- <br />tested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECI'ION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw <br />his warrants on the City Treasury for payments fran any of the aforegoing ap- <br />propriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, ap- <br />proved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Or- <br />dinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no <br />warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons em- <br />ployed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon <br />approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a <br />legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered <br />by the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the <br />earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12, of the Charter of the <br />City of North Olmsted.
