, ? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 88-130 <br />BY: MAYOR PETRIGAC <br />AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES <br />ArdD OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1988. <br />NO[a, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expenditures of said City of North Olmsted during the year endinq <br />December 31, 1988, that the following sums be and they are hereby <br />set aside and appropriated as follows: <br />MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSE TAX FUND <br />CURRENT INCREASE REVISED <br />Equipment Mtce. and Repair - 0- $ 6,000 $ 6,000 <br />SECTInN 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoqa County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the <br />aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and <br />vouchers therefore approved by the Board of Officers authorized by <br />law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make <br />the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for <br />salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in <br />accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further that the appropriation <br />for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote <br />of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against <br />the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific <br />appropriations herein made. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br />at the earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12, of the <br />Charter of the City of North Olmsted.
