<br />CITY OF NORTH OIMSTID <br />ORDINANCE NO. 88-113 <br />BY: Mayor Petrigac: <br />AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CLTRREN'I' FXPIIVSES <br />AND O'IHER EXPIIVDITCTRES FOR THE CITY OF NORTfi OIMSTID FOR <br />TfE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1988. <br />WfEREA.S, the City of North O]msted and the City of Westlake have <br />entered into an agreement to jointly repair Maple Ridge Rpad, and <br />WfEREAS, the agreement states that the City of Westlake will pay Thirty <br />Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) to the treasury of the City of North Olmsted <br />as their share of such repairs. <br />NC/W, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINID BY TfE CITY OF NOR'I'fi OIMSTED, COtTNTY OF <br />CCnAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: 'I'hat the total available funds of the General Fund be <br />increased to Eight Million Three Hundred Eightean Thousand, Eight Hundred <br />Dollars ($8,318,800). <br />SECTION 2: That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expenditures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31, 1988, that the following sums be and they are hereby set aside <br />and appropriated as follaws; <br />GENERAL FUND <br />Current Increase Revised <br />Amount Amount Amount <br />Service Department: <br />Maple Ridge Road -0- 30,000 30,000 <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council shall inmdiately forward an <br />attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 4: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw <br />his warrants on the City Treasury for payments fran any of the aforegoing <br />appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, <br />approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an <br />Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that <br />no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons <br />employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expeided upon <br />approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a <br />legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered <br />by the other specific appropriations herein made.
