WHEREFIS, the City of North Olmsted has received donations to the benefit of the Bus Fund to pay expenses related to the North Olmsted Homecaning Days. NOW, THEREF'ORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OIMSTID, COtTNTY OF C[,1yAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the total available funds of the Bus Fund be increased to read Three Million Eight Hundred Thirty-three Thousand Eighty Seven Dollars and Four Cents ($3,833,087.04). SECI'ION 2; That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of said City of North 07msted during the year ending December 31, 1988, that the following sums be and they are hereby set aside and appropriated as follows; Bt1S FCTND Miscellaneous Supplies 3,500 150 3,650 SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council shall umtediately forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Ctiiyahoga County. SECTION 4: Z"hat the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments frcen any of the aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made.
