. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 88-85 <br />BY: Mayor Petrigac <br />AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT <br />EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1988. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expen itures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31, 1988, that the following sums be and they are hereby <br />set aside and appropriated as follows; <br />SEWER REVENUE FUND <br />Carbon <br />System Vehicle Operation <br />Cost <br />CURRENT INCREASE DECREASE REVISED <br />$25,000 <br />3,500 $5,000 <br />$5,000 $20,000 <br />8,500 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an <br />atteste copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the <br />aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and <br />vouchers therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by <br />law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make <br />the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid <br />for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and <br />in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the <br />appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of <br />two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal <br />obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered <br />by the other specific appropriations herein made.
