... ... .. . . ?._... .A . ..:.. .. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-58 <br />By: TI-E MAYOR AND THE ENTIRE COUNCIL <br />A RESOLUTION CONIvIENDING ACHIEVEMENT OF TfiE SILUER AWARD <br />IN CADETTE GIRL SCOUTING <br />WHEREAS, Council has been appraised that the highest rank in Cadette <br />Girl Scouting, THE SILUER AWARD, has been attained by the following young <br />women: <br />LISA J. DUNN 4084 Fielding Drive <br />ANITA M. PLANTNER 23636 Cedarwood Lane <br />CHItISTINE A. RIES 6819 Warrington Drive <br />KIMBERLY J. RIES 6819 Warrington Drive, and <br />WHEREAS, in order to attain such an award, a Girl Scout must complete <br />the following program; may begin working on this award at the Cadette level; <br />and in earning TI-E SILVER AWARD must have met the following four requirements: <br />I. Earn the Challenge Of Being A Girl Scout <br />II. Earn Three Interest Project Certificates <br />III. Earn the Career Exploration Interest Project Certificate or <br />Earn the Dreams To Reality Interest Project Certificate <br />IV. Earn the Silver Leadership Award, and <br />WHEREAS, earning the Cadette SILVER AWARD reQuired hard work and a <br />commitment of eighteen months, plus a willingness to take on significant <br />responsibility, and <br />WHEREAS, their efforts express a very special commitment to themselves, <br />their corrnnunity, their world and the future, and <br />WHEREAS, they needed determination and endurance to carry out special <br />programs, and <br />WHEREAS, the path to this award reauired choices, decision ma.king, <br />and the ability to follow a plan they had established for themselves that <br />was neither short nor easy, and <br />WHEREAS, with their comnitment to work, and in partnership with their <br />leaders, they have succeeded and are continuing to be active in Girl Scouting, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the reception of THE SILVER AWARD by these outstanding young <br />women is a noteworthy accomplishment deserving of the accolade of the en- <br />tire community.
