CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION N0. 88-58 By: TI-E MAYOR AND THE ENTIRE COUNCIL A RESOLUTION CONIvIENDING ACHIEVEMENT OF TfiE SILUER AWARD IN CADETTE GIRL SCOUTING WHEREAS, Council has been appraised that the highest rank in Cadette Girl Scouting, THE SILUER AWARD, has been attained by the following young women: LISA J. DUNN 4084 Fielding Drive ANITA M. PLANTNER 23636 Cedarwood Lane CHItISTINE A. RIES 6819 Warrington Drive KIMBERLY J. RIES 6819 Warrington Drive, and WHEREAS, in order to attain such an award, a Girl Scout must complete the following program; may begin working on this award at the Cadette level; and in earning TI-E SILVER AWARD must have met the following four requirements: I. Earn the Challenge Of Being A Girl Scout II. Earn Three Interest Project Certificates III. Earn the Career Exploration Interest Project Certificate or Earn the Dreams To Reality Interest Project Certificate IV. Earn the Silver Leadership Award, and WHEREAS, earning the Cadette SILVER AWARD reQuired hard work and a commitment of eighteen months, plus a willingness to take on significant responsibility, and WHEREAS, their efforts express a very special commitment to themselves, their corrnnunity, their world and the future, and WHEREAS, they needed determination and endurance to carry out special programs, and WHEREAS, the path to this award reauired choices, decision ma.king, and the ability to follow a plan they had established for themselves that was neither short nor easy, and WHEREAS, with their comnitment to work, and in partnership with their leaders, they have succeeded and are continuing to be active in Girl Scouting, and WHEREAS, the reception of THE SILVER AWARD by these outstanding young women is a noteworthy accomplishment deserving of the accolade of the en- tire community.
