i <br />• <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 88- 55 <br />BY: COUNCILMAN MCKAY <br />/ <br />? <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO PROVIDE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF <br />A"NO LEFT T'URN - 7:00 A.M. TO 9:00 A.M., WEEKDAYS <br />ONLY", SIGN FOR TRAFFIC TRAVELLING IN A WESTERLY <br />DIRECTION ON BROOKPARK ROAD WHERE THE SAME INTERESECT <br />CLAGUE ROAD, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />(916 <br />?1 <br />WHEREAS, Council and the Administration have determined that it is in <br />the best interest of public safety to prohibit left hand turns, from 7:00 <br />a.m. to 9:00 a.m., weekdays only, for traffic travelling in a Westerly <br />direction on Brookpark Road where the same intersects with Clague Road; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council and Administration to amend <br />the traffic control file to provide for the installation of said traffic <br />control sign; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance <br />of a Traffic Control File which said file can be amended only by ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That <br />authorized and directed <br />North Olmsted to indic <br />7:00 a.m, to 9:00 a.m., <br />in a westerly direction <br />Calgue Road. <br />the Police Department be and they are hereby <br />to amend the traffic control file of the City of <br />3te therein the installation of a"No Left Turn - <br />Weekdays Only" sign controlling traffic traveling <br />on Brookpark Road where the same intersects with <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to have the <br />proper department cause said sign to be installed in accordance with the <br />terms of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to correct a traffic problem which exists at said intersection <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all
