? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88 - 47 <br />BY THE MAYOR AND THE ENTIRE COUNCIL <br />A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE ACHIEVEMENT <br />OF THE EAGLE SCOUT AWARD IN BOY SCOUTING. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted has <br />been apprised that the highest rank in Boy Scouting, the EAGLE <br />SCOUT AWARD, has been attained by SCOTT MALCHUS, Boy Scout <br />Troop No. 604, and <br />WHEREAS, in order to attain such an award, these levels <br />of scouting had to be passed: Tenderfoot, Second Class Scout, <br />First Class Scout, Star Scout, and Life Scout, and <br />WHEREAS, SCOTT MALCHUS has earned the following Merit <br />Badges: Basketry, Swimming, Rowing, Canoeing, Camping, Small <br />Boat Sailing, Wilderness Survival, Environmental Science, <br />Mammals, Hiking, First Aid, Backpacking, Wood Carving, Personal <br />Fitness, Leatherwork, Athletics, Sports, Cooking, Citzenship of <br />the Nation, Lifesaving, Citizenship of the Community, Communi- <br />cations, Personal Management, Citizenship of the World, and <br />WHEREAS, after having accomplished the above mentioned <br />challenges, SCOTT MALCHUS was interviewed and tested by the <br />Eagle Board of Review, and <br />WHEREAS, the reception of the EAGLE SCOUT AWARD by <br />SCOTT MALCHUS is a noteworthy accomplishment deserving of the <br />congratulations of the entire community. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council extends its best wishes and <br />heartiest congratulations to SCOTT MALCHUS on his achievement of <br />the rank of EAGLE SCOUT. <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />directec to transmit a copy of this Resolution to the above <br />named SCOTT MALCHUS. <br />PASSED: ?q /9 <br />ATT T: <br />F RENCE E.
