<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-39 <br />BY: MAYOR M. YVONNE PETRIGAC <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />TWO (2) INSERTED HOPPER TYPE SALT <br />SPREADERS FOR THE NORTH OLMSTED SERVICE <br />DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for two (2) Inserted <br />Hopper Type Salt Spreaders, and for which it will be paid out of <br />Service Department funds. Said Inserted Hopper Type Salt <br />Spreaders shall conform to the specifications now on file in the <br />office of the Director of Public Service, and that upon approval <br />by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized the <br />option to utilize the State of Ohio contractual sales process. <br />The Mayor is also hereby authorized to enter into a contract and <br />execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason <br />it is immediately necessary to maintain service to area residents <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />.&'." e &'A'a7- <br />Florence E.
