YVONNE PETRIGAC <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />ONE (1) ASPHALT RECLAIMER UNIT FOR THE <br />NORTH OLMSTED SERVICE DEPARTMENT, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for one (1) Asphalt <br />Reclaimer Unit, and for which it will be paid out of Service <br />Department funds. Said Asphalt Reclaimer Unit shall conform to <br />the specifications now on file in the office of the Director of <br />Public Service, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is hereby authorized the option to utilize the State of <br />Ohio contractual sales process. The Mayor is also hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason <br />it is immediately necessary to maintain service to area residents <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: /9tf <br />ATTEST: <br />Florence E.
