.. . ?n <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RFSOLUTION N0. 88 - 32 <br />BY: MAYOR PETRIGAC <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR EIGHT (8) POLICE VEHICLES FOR 'I'f-3E <br />NORTH OLI?'L.STED POLICE DEPAR'IME',N'I', AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />TO CON'IRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN IIMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLUED BY 'PHE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNri'Y OF <br />CiJYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Safety be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for eight (8) police vehicles to be <br />supplied under a Municipal Lease/Purchase Program or purchase for the <br />North Olmsted Police Division. Said police vehicles shall conform to the <br />specifications now on file in the office of the Director of Public Safety, <br />and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is also hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the <br />City of Nor'ch 0]msted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure irrunediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason it is isrmiediately necessary <br />to maintain safety for area residents and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force irrnnediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />PASSED :"11 r(f? ?L 2 1 1 1 G( d D <br />A'I'I'EST : <br />? <br />jvvi 4v ? <br />RENCE E.
