WHEREAS, said project.consists of designating up to $150,000-for Fiscal <br />Year 1988 and $150,000 -for Fiscal.Year 1989. Fiscal Year 1989 funding is <br />contingent upon the sise of the.Cuyahoga Countq eatitlement in Fiscal Year 1989 and based upoa satisfactory progress on the first year portion of the <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, the majority of the Cook Road Waterline-Project is located in <br />a lower income area. ia Olmsted Tawnship; •..and- <br />FIHEREAS, the City of North*Olmsted prefers ajoint application*with - <br />. Olmsted Township, based oa the.economic*development benefits and-beaefits- to <br />low and moderate income persons, and the creation of jobs in both comminities; <br />and - <br />WHEREAS,-the City.recogaizes that it is necessary to adopt an ordinance <br />indicating there: is authority to apply for said Community Development Block <br />Grant Funds. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NOBTH OLMSTBD, <br />CODNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That this Council does hereby suthorize and di-rect Doa Copeland <br />to apply for Cammunity Deve•lopment Block Grant Funds for Fiscal Years 1988 aad <br />1989.
