CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 88 - 18 <br />BY: Mayor Petrigac <br />AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT <br />EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1988. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expen tTi?ures of said City of North Olmsted during the year <br />ending December 31, 1988, that the following sums be and they <br />are hereby set aside and appropriated as follows: <br />GENERAL FUND <br />Police Department CURRENT INCREASE REVISED <br />Overtime $6,000 $5,000 $11,000 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately <br />forwar an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of <br />Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />to drawhis warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any <br />of the aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates <br />and vouchers therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized <br />by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council <br />to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn <br />or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by <br />authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be <br />expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items <br />of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and <br />for purposes other than those covered by the other specific <br />appropriations herein made. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />force at t e earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12, <br />of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted.
