CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION N0. 88-13 PAGE TWO NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That this Council strongly urges the Senate Committee on Energy, Natural Resources and the Environment to conduct a public hearing on H.B. 491 and S.B. 39 in Toledo and also in Cleveland. SECTION 2: That this Council strongly urges the Ohio Gen- eral Assembly to enact House Bill 491 or Senate Bill 39 to ban the sale of high-phosphate laundry detergents in the Lake Erie Drainage Basin. SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forwar a certified copy of this Resolution to Governor Richard F. Celeste; Speaker of the House, Representative Vernal G. Riffe; President of the Senate, Senator Paul E. Gillmor; Chairman of the Senate Committee on Energy, Natural Resources and Environment Gary C. Suhadolnik; and State Representative, James A. Petro. SECTION 4: That this Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this Resolution were taken in an open meeting of this Council and that all deliberations of this Council, and of any committees that resulted in those formal actions, were in meet- ings open to the public in compliance with law.
