<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 88- 8 <br />BY: RON TALLAN <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BUILDING C014IlMQSSIONER TO <br />PROCEID F1ITH THE DEMOLTTION OR REMOVAL OF THE DETACHED <br />GARAGE AND SINGLE DWELLING LOCATED AT 4712 DOVER CENTER <br />ROAD, IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />? WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 133.01 and 1331.99 <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, the Building <br />Commissioner has determined that the abandoned structures located at 6712 <br />Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, the record title holder being Y.en <br />Kreuger, are unsafe, dangerous to human life and hazardous to the safety, <br />health, and public welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted; <br />and <br />WfIEREAS, notice to repair, remove, or demolish said building was sent <br />via certified mail, return receipt requested to Kea greuger on October 26?k.? <br />1987 at 2773 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, orderiag sa?d-title ? <br />holder to repair, remove, or demolish said buildings and to commence such <br />? repair, removal, or demolition within sixty (60) days of receipt of said <br />notice; and , <br />WHEREAS, said record title holder, Ken Kreuger failed to reverse the <br />Building Commissioner's order and also failed to further appeal the <br />decision of the Zoning Board of Appeals to a higher tribunal of competent <br />jurisdiction and this time has failed to comply Mrith the order of the <br />Building Commission. NOW, THERF.FORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF. NORTH <br />DIMS"PED, CUYAHOGA OOUNTY AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />-SECTION 1: That Council deems it necessary to proceed vith the <br />demolition and removal of the unsafe structures at 4712 Dover Ceater Road. <br />North Olmsted, owaed by Ken Kreuger, Whose mailiag address is 2773 Dover <br />Ceater -xoad. North Olmsted, Ohio, by reason of the fact that said <br />structures have been determined to be dangerous to humaa life and a hazard <br />to the public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City of <br />North Olmsted,- Ohio, and that the cost of said demolition and removal be <br />paid from the General Fuad of the City of'North Olmsted and cha=ged to the <br />ovner as a special assessmeat or lien oa such parcel of laad and assessed <br />and collected ia the maaner or other.assessments as provided by lav. _
