. ~• ~ For all of the foregoing reasons, this Council wishes to recognize the accomplishments of Thomas P. O'Grady, Ward 2 Councilman for the City of North Olmsted. In doing so, we all acknowledge that he truly was a Public Servant who made his mark and will be remembered for his accomplishments. With the passage of this Resolution, it is the intention of this Council to dedicate the Council Chambers to the memory of past councilpersons who served the City of North Olmsted. In that regard, a portrait of Thomas P. O'Grady will be hung in the Council Chambers as a reminder of the dedicated service he gave to the citizens of North Olmsted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Council of the City of North Olmsted personally and collectively, and on behalf of the Mayor and the Administration and all residents of the City, honor the memory of Thomas P. O'Grady, and extends its debt of gratitude to him. SECTION 2: Be it further resolved that this Resolution be spread in full upon the records of this Council and that the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a duly authenticated and executed copy of this Resolution to Thomas P. O'Grady's wife, Mary O'Grady. SECTION 3: That the Director of Public Service is hereby directed to obtain a portrait of Thomas P. O'Grady containing a notation thereon indicating the years of service given to the City of North Olmsted and, have the same placed in the Council Chambers.
