CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-192 <br />BY: THE MAYOR AND ENTIRE CITY COUNCIL <br />A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE PUBLIC SERVICE OF <br />RONALD JAMES TALLON, SR. <br />WHEREAS, Ronald James Tallon Sr. served on City Council <br />for eight years: six years as Councilman of Ward One and <br />two years as a Councilman-at-large; and <br />WHEREAS, He has served on the Board of Building Code <br />Appeals from 1979 to 1984; and <br />WHEREAS, He has been a member of various Committees of <br />City Council, with the most recent including the chairman's <br />seat in finance and as a member of building, zoning and <br />development and recreation, public parks and buildings; and <br />WHEREAS, He is also a member of City Council's Cable <br />Television Advisory Board; and <br />WHEREAS, His years of service with the City of North <br />Olmsted have been marked by exemplary dedication to the best <br />interests of the community; and <br />WHEREAS, He has worked for the betterment of the City <br />of North Olmsted's economic and aesthetic development; and <br />WHEREAS, He has earned the admiration and high regard <br />of those with whom he has come into contact as well as the <br />affection of his fellow public servants who are proud to <br />call him friend; and <br />WHEREAS, Ron Tallon has displayed leadership abilities <br />outside of city government, serving as president of the <br />Forest-Laurel Woods Civic Association and as an officer of <br />the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers <br />Local 38; and <br />WHEREAS, He is also a member of the Board of Directors <br />of Wiremen's Credit Union; and <br />WHEREAS, He also excels at his most important job - <br />serving as husband to wife, Karen, and father to his <br />children, Ron, Jr. and Amy. <br />
