CITY OF NORTH OIMSSTE•D <br />RESOLiTrION N0. 91 - 17 3 <br />By: <br />Mr. Tallon <br />A RESOLUTION AUIIiORIZING THE DIR~OR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE <br />F08 BID6 FCC THB CONSTRUCTION OF' ALTERATIONS 1n THE FIRIl~ RA1V~ AT THE <br />POLICE STATION IN THE CITY OF NORTH OIMSTED, AND DECLARIl~IG AN EL~tGIIVC.'Y. <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has had plans and specifications prepared for <br />alterations to the Firing Range at the Police Station in the City of North Olmsted <br />deems it appropriate for the safety and welfare of the employees to construct the <br />aforesaid improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council, having been advised of the recommendation of the <br />City Engineer is desirous of having the Director of Public Service advertise for <br />bids in accordance with the plans and specifications now in his office for the <br />purpose of alterations to the Firing Range at the Police Station. <br />Complex. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorize to advertise for the bids for alterations to the Firing Range at the <br />Police Station in the City of North Olmsted, all of which shall be in accordance <br />with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board <br />of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute the <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to take <br />corrective actions in order to insure the health, safety and welfare of the <br />employees, and further, provided that it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~' ` ri~t~-~e.~.~ ~ ~~/ <br />EST: j <br />I ~ <br />Barbara L.
