CITY OF NORTH OIMSTED <br />RESOLUTICI~ NO. 91 - 17 2 <br />By: Mr. Tallon <br />A RESOLUTION AUIIiORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE <br />F~ BID6 F~ THE CONSTRU(,TION OF ALTHtATI0A15 1D THB HVAC SYSTEM AT CITY HALL <br />IN THE CITY OF NORTH OIMS'TID, AMID DEC.LAR~ AN EMERGII~ICY. <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has had plans and specifications prepared for <br />alterations to the HVAC System at City Hall in the City of North Olmsted and <br />deems it appropriate for the safety and welfare of the employees and the public <br />to construct the aforesaid improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council, having been advised of the recommendation of the <br />City Engineer is desirous of having the Director of Public Service advertise for <br />bids in accordance with the plans and specifications now i.n his office for the <br />purpose of alterations to the HVAC System at City Hall. <br />Complex. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorize to advertise for the bids for alterations to the HVAC System at City <br />Hall in the City of North Olmsted, all of which shall be in accordance with <br />specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of <br />Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute the <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to take <br />corrective actions in order to insure the health, safety and welfare of employees <br />and the public, and further, provided that it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />„_..~ <br />PASSED : ~~~~4C <br />EST <br />- d.~~E ~ -Y---- <br />Barbara L.
