The map or plan shall <br />conform to the standards set by the City Engineer. <br />(b) Construction shall conform to the approved topographic map for the <br />lot. No significant deviation from the approved topographic plan <br />shall be permitted without the submittal of a revised topographic plan <br />to the City Engineer for his review and approval prior to construction <br />of said deviation or revision. <br />(c) The builder shall submit to the City Engineer written verification <br />that the purchaser of the lot has reviewed the approved topographic <br />plan for the lot prior to the issuance of the Building Permit. In the <br />event that there is no purchase contract at the time the Building <br />Permit is issued, the builder shall submit said verification within <br />ten (10) days of the date of the signing of a contract to build a <br />building on the lot. Said verification shall be required to be <br />submitted any time that the City Engineer requires the submittal of a <br />revised topographic plan. <br />(d) The builder shall submit to the City Engineer an "as-built" <br />topographic plan for the lot within thirty (30) days of completion of <br />the work, unless the City Engineer grants an extension due to weather <br />conditions. The City Engineer may also require submittal within <br />thirty (30) days of notification of the builder of an "as-built" <br />topographic plan for the lot if construction is not <br />completed but no substantial effort is made by the builder <br />to complete the construction, in accordance with the <br />approved topographic plan, for a period of not less than ninety <br />(90) days. <br />(e) In the event that a builder does not submit an "as-built" topographic <br />plan for a lot as required in subsection (d) above, then the City may <br />obtain the services of a Registered Surveyor to perform a topographic <br />survey and furnish the City Engineer with an "as-built" topographic <br />plan of the lot. The cost of such survey and plan shall be deducted <br />from the monies deposited by the builder as required by this section. <br />SECTION 4: Section 1353.10 of the codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, which now reads as follows: <br />"1353.10 GRADES ON DEDICATED STREETS WITHIN THE CITY. <br />On a dedicated street within the City, no person, firm or corporation shall <br />be issued a building permit for the construction of any structure until a five <br />hundred dollar ($500.00) cash deposit is paid to the Engineering Department to <br />cover administrative costs, costs for checking grades and drainage and surface <br />water. The balance of such cash deposit shall be refunded upon compliance with <br />the terms of this chapter, after deducting therefrom any costs and expenses <br />incurred by the City as a result of work done by the City Engineer, Assistant <br />City Engineer, or the Engineering Department field crew. <br />The following are engineering inspection and grading deposits for <br />commercial (including multi-family housing) developments: <br />Less than 1 acre $1,500 <br />1 to 3 acres 2,500 <br />3 to 5 acres 4,000 <br />Over 5 acres 6,000 <br />
