CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-142 <br />BY: Mr. Tallon <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 2,000 TONS OF STONE FOR VARIOUS <br />SERVICE DEPARTMENT NEIDS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLrLSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for 2,000 tons of stone for various <br />Service Department needs, according to the specifications now on file in <br />his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is <br />hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is <br />immediately necessary to provide for the city's stone requirements, and <br />further provided it received the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : ,~,k:x t~%` <br />~~ 9~ ~ <br />ATTEST: <br />'BARBARA L.
