CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 91- 123 <br />BY: DEAN MCKAY <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL <br />FILE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY PROVIDING <br />FOR THE INSTALLATION OF "NO PARKING" SIGN ON THE <br />NORTH SIDE OF MITCHELL DRIVE FROM COLUMBIA <br />ROAD TO THE WEST END OF MITCHELL DRIVE, AND <br />DECLARING THE SAME TO BE AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the safety, <br />health, and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted to install a "No Parking" <br />sign on Mitchell Drive to prohibit parking on the north side of Mitchell Drive from Columbia <br />Road westerly to its terminus, thereby prohibiting parking as aforesaid; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of the Traffic <br />Control File, which said file can be amended only by ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby authorized and <br />directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon the <br />installation of "No Parking" signs on Mitchell Drive to prohibit parking on Mitchell Drive as <br />aforesaid; <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause said <br />"no Parking" signs to be installed in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that it is immediately necessary to eliminate traffic congestion which impacts on <br />the health, safety and welfare of the residents, and further, provided that it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />
