B . @ Clague Road p~TE BY: GEORGE NASHAR An averyency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted ~ CuyahOg a County, Ohio, in the natter of the herainaftez described improvement and to request cooperation by the Director of Transportation. WHEREAS, the City has identified the need for and proposes the improvement of a portion of the public highway which is described as follows: Upgrade the existing traffic signal at the interchange of I-480 W.B. and Clague Road in the City of North Olmsted. Work will include replacing the wiring, the controller, and other associated hardware as required and adding interconnect cable to provide compatibility with existing and proposed city wide signalization systems. said portion of highway within the municipal corporation limits being hereinafter referred to as the improvement, and WHEREAS, the City further desires cooperation from the Director of Transportation in the planning, design and construction of said improvement. Now THERERORE, Be .it ordained by the Council of the City of North Olmsted Ohia: SECTION I (Cooperation) That said City hereby requests the cooperation of the Director of Transportation in the cost of the above described improvement as follows: The city does here by agree to provide construction contract plans at entirely its own cost and expenses and include the actual upgrading in a proposed city wide signalization contract. In addition, upon beginning of physical work at the subject intersection, the city will assume ownership and be responsible for the operation and complete maintenance of the traffic signal, including labor, equipment, materials, energy costs, and as further described in section V herein. SECTION II (Consent) That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of said City'~be and such consent is hereby given to the Director of Transportation to construct the above described improvement, in accordance with plans, specifications and estimates as approved by the Director. SECTION III (Authority to Sign) That the Mayo r of said City, is hereby empowered and directed on behalf of the City to enter into agreements with the Director of Transportation necessary to complete the planning and construction of this improvement. SECTION IV (Traffic Control Signals and Devices) That traffic control devices installed within the limits of the project will conform with Section 4511 of the Ohio Revised Code. • Outerbelt South ORDINANCE NO. 91-114 page 1 of 3
