B . @ Clague Road p~TE <br />BY: <br />GEORGE NASHAR <br />An averyency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted ~ <br />CuyahOg a County, Ohio, in the natter of the herainaftez described improvement <br />and to request cooperation by the Director of Transportation. <br />WHEREAS, the City has identified the need for and proposes the improvement of a portion of the <br />public highway which is described as follows: <br />Upgrade the existing traffic signal at the interchange of I-480 W.B. and <br />Clague Road in the City of North Olmsted. Work will include replacing the <br />wiring, the controller, and other associated hardware as required and <br />adding interconnect cable to provide compatibility with existing and <br />proposed city wide signalization systems. <br />said portion of highway within the municipal corporation limits being hereinafter referred to <br />as the improvement, and <br />WHEREAS, the City further desires cooperation from the Director of Transportation in the <br />planning, design and construction of said improvement. <br />Now THERERORE, Be .it ordained by the Council of the City of North Olmsted <br />Ohia: <br />SECTION I (Cooperation) <br />That said City hereby requests the cooperation of the Director of Transportation in the <br />cost of the above described improvement as follows: <br />The city does here by agree to provide construction contract plans at <br />entirely its own cost and expenses and include the actual upgrading in a <br />proposed city wide signalization contract. <br />In addition, upon beginning of physical work at the subject intersection, <br />the city will assume ownership and be responsible for the operation and <br />complete maintenance of the traffic signal, including labor, equipment, <br />materials, energy costs, and as further described in section V herein. <br /> <br />SECTION II (Consent) <br />That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of said City'~be and <br />such consent is hereby given to the Director of Transportation to construct the above described <br />improvement, in accordance with plans, specifications and estimates as approved by the Director. <br />SECTION III (Authority to Sign) <br />That the Mayo r of said City, is hereby empowered <br />and directed on behalf of the City to enter into agreements with the Director of Transportation <br />necessary to complete the planning and construction of this improvement. <br />SECTION IV (Traffic Control Signals and Devices) <br />That traffic control devices installed within the limits of the project will conform with Section <br />4511 of the Ohio Revised Code. • <br />Outerbelt South ORDINANCE NO. 91-114 <br />page 1 of 3 <br />
