CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-107 <br />By: <br />P~1r . Tallon <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 3,000 TONS OF <br />SALT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY <br />OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for 3,000 tons of road salt in accordance <br />with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and <br />execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to <br />provide for the safe use of city streets during the winter season, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br />to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />i <br />PASSED: ~ ~-.~-~z~~~~/ /fig/ <br />ATTEST: <br />j~ f,, <br />BABA L.
